Please Note: Local candidates ONLY as this position requires the person to be at the Client Site, Baltimore location at least 4 times a month.

Key Required Skills:

Quality Assurance engineer/Test Lead (Manual end to end testing)

Analyst

Automation (selenium and Java) and 508 tester.

Position Description:

Lead the development of highly innovative products/solutions, achieved through collaboration and dialogue with other experts in the field. The candidate will continually assess advancements in technologies to gauge and recommend better solutions for the customer to improve the software developer experience and efficient delivery of software.

Mentor and coach technical staff, proactively shape product vision, and support multiple internal/external initiatives to achieve mission success. The candidate will have past and proven experiences as the technical lead on large, complex projects, and enterprise solutions.

Provide technical advice/input that impact strategic client outputs and federal business results.

Impact functional strategy by developing new solutions, processes, standards, or operational plans that position federal client competitively in the marketplace

Basic Requirements/Qualifications:

Master's degree and 5+ years of experience in a training-related field or bachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience in a training-related field

Must be able to obtain a Public Trust

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field

Masters or Doctorate degree may substitute for required experience

10+ years of experience developing and conducting functional and system integration testing

5+ years' experience as an analyst gathering requirements while working closely with customer and development teams

3+ years of experience with 508 testing using JAWS

3+ Years of experience with Automation testing using Selenium and Java

5+ years of experience on an Agile development team, preferable Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)

Required Skills:

Expertise developing and conducting functional and system integration testing.

Strong experience using Automation tools selenium/java

Strong experience as an analyst

Strong experience with 508 testing using JAWS, ANDI

Strong experience writing test plans and test cases

Experience as Test lead while also performing hands on testing duties.

Comprehensive knowledge of Scrum and Kanban Agile development process and ceremonies including scrums, planning events, backlog grooming, retrospectives, and demos.

Strong communication and collaborative skills in Quality assurance and analysis.

Sound knowledge of quality Assurance methods and procedures, as well as familiarity with the full life cycle development processes

Responsible for the overall 508 testing including test planning, test strategy and testing deliverables including documentation.

Completes reporting materials and other necessary documentation as required including test logs and VPATs.

Desired Skills:

Senior level experience as business analyst and tester (Both manual and automation)

Experience maintaining resources in configuration management tools, such as GitHub repository.

Knowledge of web accessibility testing practices used on web platforms

Thoroughly tests software to ensure proper orientation and free from defects

Experience as Test Lead

Education/Work Experience:

Master's degree and 5+ years of experience in a training-related field or bachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience in a training-related field
