Sr. Front End UI Software Engineer

DESCRIPTION:

Looking for a Sr Front End UI Software Engineer. Will need a good understanding of UI technology stacks. Will be practicing disciplined software engineering and automated testing, code reviews, and writing code.

REQUIREMENTS:

Strong JavaScript/TypeScript programming.

Extensive professional experience with React and/or Angular, and NodeJS.

Strong CSS skills.

Understanding of UI development best practices.

E2E Testing experience.

Unit testing / TDD.

Excellent communication skills and comfortable presenting ideas to varied audiences.

DESIRED SKILLS:

Understanding of PWAs (Progressive Web Applications) and related technologies for creating desktop web apps.

Experience of working with FDC3 standard technologies.

Experience using D3 for data visualization.

Experience using ag-grid or other grid virtualization library.

Experience using Material UI design system.

Comfortable using design tools such as Figma to mock-up UI designs.

Full-stack experience.

Familiarity with AWS.

An understanding of the asset management business and/or financial markets.
